Team Wells Leadership Biographies
Bill Pruett, Vice President of Operations
As the Vice President of Operations, Bill leads our team with 30 plus years construction experience. Bill is a LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP) and is responsible for the company’s internal controls. Bill has dedicated a large portion of his career working with churches and religious facilities in both construction and lending capacities.
Bill studied at California State Fullerton and Fullerton College. He and his wife have four grown boys and have been active volunteers for Rocklin High School basketball, football and baseball programs since 1995.
Sylvia Lamas, Controller
Our office team is led by Sylvia Lamas; she currently holds the position of Controller. Sylvia joined our team with 20 years diverse accounting experience. Sylvia is responsible for financial planning and reporting, administrative functions.
Sylvia plays an active roll in managing the Wells Construction office team. She holds a degree in Business Administration from California Baptist University. Sylvia is active in her community and enjoys traveling with her family.
Amber Vance, Director of Business Development
Amber brings 11 years of diverse construction experience to our team and currently holds the position of Business Development Manager. Her experience in project management, design build construction and business development allow her to excel in marketing interface.
Amber studied interior design at American River College and construction management at Sacramento State University. She is active in her community’s youth sports programs and has served as a member of the District 5 Little League BOD for the past three years.
Jeff Coker, Vice President of Construction
Leading the construction team, Jeff brings over 30 years of experience in commercial, industrial,and retail construction. With Jeff’s extensive experience, he oversees projects from conception to completion.
Jeff’s insight brings a fresh approach to our construction team and promotes the Wells Construction philosophy of providing phenomenal client service and building with our clients’ best interest. Jeff holds a degree in Civil Engineering from University of California, Davis.
Monte Griffin, Lead Estimator
As lead estimator Monte is responsible for directing our estimating team. Monte has 22 years experience in the construction industry and has been involved in all types of projects throughout his career.
Working as a carpenter, superintendent, and project manager provided Monty the industry knowledge to bid competitively and successfully. Monte’s knowledge and experience is a great asset to the Wells Team.
