Strings - Jackson
Job Scope: 2008 New Construction
Jackson, California
This ground up consists of a 2,942 square foot Strings Restaurant with a full kitchen and beer and wine bar. The structure is wood framed with stucco exterior and light gauge metal interior framing. Interior finishes include ceramic tile and stained concrete floors with open ceilings and exposed ducting. The counter tops are polished granite.
A significant amount of underground work had to be completed on this smaller site such as the installation of a 4,000 gallon grease interceptor, 8” fire service line as well as rerouting an existing 24” storm drain. Due to constraints caused by existing underground services the civil engineers had to redesign the site on two separate occasions. Despite these delays the project was completed on schedule.
