Our Commitment to Safety

At Wells Construction safety is our top priority. Our Health and Safety Coordinator, Chris Tompkins, is committed to providing our team with the training necessary to provide a safe working environment for all Wells employees.
As Health and Safety Coordinator, Chris is responsible for implementing and maintaining Wells Construction’s safety program. Chris developed the Wells Construction injury and illness prevention programs, performs jobsite safety inspections, he conducts educational and training seminars for the Wells Construction team as well as our subcontractors.
Chris earned a Bachelors degree in Exercise Science at CSUS. He also obtained a Masters Degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Risk Management as well as a second Masters Degree in Exercise Science & Health Promotion. Chris also teaches health, exercise, and safety classes at American River College and Sacramento State University.
Wells Construction jobsites have been recognized by CAL/OSHA Golden Gate Recognition Program.
